The setups I include on this blog are used in conjunction with the 3/10macd and the criteria I ascribe to it as a way to alert me to an existing condition of price. The key concept to take away from this blog is that I try to anticipate what will happen on the higher time frame by using a faster time frame to trigger the trade setup. I do not trade a "system" I use two indicators to clue me in to price conditions. Please read the Disclaimer located in the sidebar of this site. I can be contacted via email at toddstrade@gmail.com
I am always open to questions, comments, or suggestions on how to improve this blog.

ugh

Today's Trade:
A key for the above chart to define the horizontal lines and dots.  For further explanation, see this link:

A very choppy day.  Those symmetrically placed volume spikes (above chart) are curious, all right around the same price too, hmmm.

5-trades; 2 shorts, 4-longs
I tried a long entry that isn't marked with an arrow.  It was around 9:20 and it was for a 1.5-point loss.
The next two trades (short) were very choppy.
Third trade (long) was break-even.
Fourth trade long was decent.
Fifth trade long I lost a tick when all was said and done.  After that trade I gave up on the day other wise I might have attempted a short into the close.

Higher time frame
the 65-min chart looks like it can have a small bear flag (which would align with today's choppy price behavior)
