The setups I include on this blog are used in conjunction with the 3/10macd and the criteria I ascribe to it as a way to alert me to an existing condition of price. The key concept to take away from this blog is that I try to anticipate what will happen on the higher time frame by using a faster time frame to trigger the trade setup. I do not trade a "system" I use two indicators to clue me in to price conditions. Please read the Disclaimer located in the sidebar of this site. I can be contacted via email at toddstrade@gmail.com
I am always open to questions, comments, or suggestions on how to improve this blog.

Mon 01_14

today's trade:

A key for the above chart to define the horizontal lines and dots.  For further explanation, see this link:

A couple of scratch trades, a small loss a small gain.  The up-arrow with an "x" indicates an entry considered but not taken.  Last trade taken today was somewhat poor execution (exit) on my part, though I cheated on the entry and got in around vwap instead of waiting for the 5-min to trigger).

Some cross-current signals at this stage.  The higher time frame (chart below) was showing 2c-2d criteria, which makes me want to look for long opportunities on the faster time frame (up-arrows on 15-min chart).
The failure of the entries to follow-through leads to anticipation of the 65min chart rolling over and turning into criteria 2c again, which would trigger on the 15-min 3/10macd fast line turning negative OR you can wait for a pullback of that fast line (as in XYZ corrective wave).  Otherwise, we break out overhead.
