The setups I include on this blog are used in conjunction with the 3/10macd and the criteria I ascribe to it as a way to alert me to an existing condition of price. The key concept to take away from this blog is that I try to anticipate what will happen on the higher time frame by using a faster time frame to trigger the trade setup. $TICK

The NYSE TICK registered it's highest reading yesterday (+1700) since January 04, 2001 (which had a reading of +1791).
As an aside, January 03, 2001 registered a +2603.
Interestingly, 48 trading days earlier ("Flash Crash"), the TICK registered it's lowest reading (-1875) since Aug. 08, 1998.
Feel the fade.
